According to SA-Venues, the Boegoekloof trail is a 17-kilometre route of roughly eight hours, rated moderate to tough, while the Suicide Gorge and Riviersonderend route is a 17-kilometre circular walk of around nine hours, so an early start is recommended. The multi-day Boland Hiking Trail usually takes three days, running from Nuweberg on Viljoen's Pass to the reserve. Sir Lowry's Pass Wagon Trail
