Welcome

A family-run guesthouse at the foot of the Helderberg

We are Sonny, Marije and Oliver, Dutchies from Groningen who started a guesthouse in South Africa.

Villa Helderberg sits on a quiet country estate, surrounded by a lush garden, a big pool and mountain views. We recently renovated, with upgraded rooms and cottages and a reimagined garden.

You are minutes from award-winning wine estates and golf courses, and 8 minutes from the white sands of Strand Beach. Kids are welcome, and the garden is full of birds, squirrels and guinea fowl.

Would come back again

What a wonderful stay! We booked the two pool-view rooms, and one even included a beautiful bathtub. Everything was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower was excellent.
